On January 22, the INNODERM Consortium gathered for the first time as the WINTHER Consortium for the official kickoff of the follow-on project, WINTHER (Grant No. 871763).
The new project is funded by EU Horizon 2020, and is titled “Fast optoacoustic mesoscopy, using the skin as a WINdow for THERaperutic monitoring of local and systemic diseases.” Through WINTHER we aim to take the achievements of INNODERM one step further by using our skin based optoacoustic mesoscopy approach and data analytics to monitor treatment for cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
We look forward to continuing our already successful work as a consortium toward developing this revolutionary technology for improving and individualizing healthcare.
