22 May 2019: INNODERM prototype RSOM delivered to clinical partner Humanitas University

The INNODERM Raster-Scanning Optoacoustic Mesoscopy (RSOM) prototype developed by consortium partners Technical University of Munich, iThera Medical GmbH, Sonaxis SA, and Rayfos Ltd has been packed up (very carefully!) and is now on its way to partner, Humanitas University‘s clinic in Milan. Once there, the Humanitas University team will use the RSOM to perform clinical and preclinical studies, which will be used to help us identify potentially interesting biomarkers and continue to improve the system through user feedback. Looking forward to the next phase of the project!
