In this paper, the authors characterize the preparation of hypoxia preconditioned serum (HPS), and assess the utility of HPS-fibrin hydrogels as vehicles for controlled factor delivery. In this study, RSOM was used to assess the distortion effect caused in the dermis by the HPS injection.
